Default ... boost gauge install

... i just picked up an autometer boost gauge (its autometer, i know, i know, but i gotta save $$$)... anyways, i was looking at it last night... and the directions were unclear... so where do i hook it up to the engine turbo... lemme know... thanks...

i hooked my up to the fpr, as the greddy instructions said. I have a electronic though, but that should not make a difference.

here's how i hooked mine up


edit: the black hose is just there to cover the ungle *** copper line

You can split from any line coming into the mani. I used the nipple from the cruise control, since I don't have cruise anymore.

Vacuum is the same everywhere in the manifold after the throttle body

Until recently autometer didn't offer any backlit gauges, however VDO does and they are very nice (stock for porsche, sp?)

... so just to confirm... from the diagram below, i would follow the section in the red circle and NOT in the blue circle... right?... because i thought it was the other way around... lemme know... thanks for all the replies...

then theres the autometer copper pressure gauge tubes. i think there larger in diameter. and flexible.

That's awesome. Yeah, mine is slow as hell when climbing. I hear the turbo spool at 2,500, but don't get in the positive #'s until like 3,500. I'm going to go do that right now...

Where do you get the tee in the red
circle to hookup to the fitting that comes with autometer gauge.
