Boost dropping off with AVC-R?
I used the search, no dice... When I graph out the boost on my AVC-R, its dropping off as I rev higher. I've even got the RPM-based boost and duty raised a bit to compensate... it's helping but not completely. I finally got the gear-based correction to work, now I'm just ironing out the finer points of this thing. Would an improper duty cycle contribute to unstable boost? I'm pretty sure I've driven it enough for "self learning," so I'm not sure.
The only other possible things that could be the cause are a small exhaust leak after the turbo (downpipe to test pipe joint), the fact that I'm using a POS DRAG gen 2 exh. manifold (wastegate operates off one cylinder only). I don't think its the turbo, it is a T3/4B but I've got it on good word that its been retrimmed for more flow than a standard B. Other than that... I'm kinda stumped, all my vacuum lines look good and I'm not seeing any pre-turbo exhaust leaks, so who knows. Thanks for any info, Todd.
