Default Boost drop @ WOT?

Is it normal for boost to drop off at WOT?? Mine is set @ 9psi, or .63 bar on my VAFC, and while at WOT I watch the VAFC drop down to about .55-.53. I'm just wondering if this sounds normal, or what would cause it if it is a problem.

so basically the WG is really set lower, but is creeping? I think I understand what your sayin...That would make sense since its a 7psi internal wg. How can I stop it from creeping??

Get a better source for your boost controller or if its right to the wastegate, get a better boost source from the manifold, brake booster or something. Sometime this is common with bigger exhaust.

Cool...I'll try that. I was just reading some other posts (guess I shoulda searched) and alot of people were talking about the compressor not being powerful enough at higher rpms. Its only a 14b, so I could understand that too....

what about your cams? or the overlap? i think having too big of cam or some fucked up overlap can cause limited boost. but im not sure if that would only happen at wot

I don't think that turbo would run out on a d series motor, maybe a b16, but I doubt it.
