Noob Question, what is boost creep? lol please no flaming
herd of it a thousand times before, but never really pay attention to it... anyways how is boost creep cause? how do u know ur getting boost creep? what to do to eliminate the boost creep?

boost creep is an increase past where you have your max set. either with a non adjustable wastegate, (relying on the spring only) or where it is set on the boost controller.
can be caused a few ways, common, is an undersized poorly placed wastegate.

Also make note of the difference between creep and a spike. People mix them up all the time.
Creep is when you start off at set boost and it begins to increase from that point.
A spike is when the boost goes right past were it is set and then usually drops back.
If you're getting creep you need a bigger wastegate, better wastegate placement, a less restrictive dump tube, or possibly a combination of all those things.
