Default Boost, detonation, Stock and a CRX

I've been reading this forum for days now and I still do not have a clear answer on the steps necessary for adding a turbo to my 1991 CRX si. This is what I have to date:

- Garrett T03 turbo unit with variable waste gate
- Header/Manifold for turbo unit and my stock 1.6L engine
- Blow off valve
- K&N Air Filter
- All air tubing for intake side and exhaust
- Various rubber tubing for coolant and oil to turbo

What I need to know before install
- Can I run my bone stock engine with 110miles on it at 8psi safely?
- What's the best place on the CRX to tap into the coolant and oil outputs and return for the turbo?
- Do I really need to upgrade my fuel pump and fuel injectors with a boost of 8psi?

I am new to turboing and wanted to really take small inexpensive steps while learning the basics. I'm not looking for 200+hp right now....perhaps 160hp. Maybe later once I get the hang of things I'll rebuild a ZC motor and go for 200+hp.

Any advice/direction is much appreciated.

Thanks
CRX Freak

Might not be what you are looking for but they have a good way to run the water lines.

I am assuming that this is a custom turbo kit. Well you forgot some things that you need. You need a upgraded fuel pump, a FMU(boost dependent fuel pressure regulator, and some check valves to confuse the map sensor so it doesn't read boost. Yes you can run 8psi on that setup with the other mods that I listed but make sure you retard the timing -1 degree from stock just so you don't detonate. Also make sure that you run a colder spark plug also. It would coo if you could get a intercooler but you should be alright without running one for now. If you have any ?'s just post again. Peace out
