BOOST CREEP = SOLVED!!!!!
Hey, you guys can use this for reference or whatever but I just solved some serious boost creep issues I was having with my setup
HKS Bolt on turbo kit (t25 60trim)
2" downpipe
SAFC Hack
Greddy TVVC boost controller
pic:
Anyway, boost would creep to about 10 psi then drop to about 3 psi or so as the revs came up.
it pissed me off.
a lot.
So my brother bought a hallman boost controller for his turbo civic and we decieded to throw it on to see if would do anything.
DAMN!!! Solid boost throught the rev range!!
Even in 5th gear at 30mph and full throttle the boost would not creep at all, very very very little loss as the car went through revs too.

Re: BOOST CREEP = SOLVED!!!!! (TurboDANDEE)
I have boosted Porsche's, GTR's, 180SX's, Supra's, Turbo Vettes, 660cc Capuccinos, RX-7's, Lancers, WRX's, Supercharged V-8's, my turbo beater and a couple other boosted vehicles in 5th with absolutely no problems. I guess I'll have bigfoot and the locknest monster ride with me next time so I can experience broken parts in 5th gear

LOL. I boost in 5th all day long too.....with the afc hack as well untuned
I used a ghetto home made spring-ball manual controller and its solid, no creep at all

Your turbo kit didn't have an adjustable waste gate ? My WRX turbo and my garrett T3 has one...
wow, you went though a lot of trouble to keep that battery up font...

Thats the crazy thing!! I'm not saying the TVVC is junk by any means, my friend with a boosted d16 has one and it works great!! Its just on my car the hallman pro RX seems to be the ticket!
