Default boost controller for supercharger???

i know that the pulley size determines boost psi but is there any way to lower your boost without resorting to a bigger pulley?

my friend, pretty good fab guy, fabricated his own custom mounts or bracket to mount a supercharger from one of those superchared t birds. it mounts in the front in front of the header bolted to the block running off the crank pulley i believe. anyways

his car is boosting like 22psi or something like that. he wanted to know if theres like a device that can bled off excess boost. kinda like a wastegate to bleed off exhaust to lower boost, something like that but for a suoercharger??

blow off valve i believe can do this, i forgot how they have to be setup tho. kinda acts like a wastegate, but in the intake track instead of the exhaust

if he set the car up to 22 psi with pullies.... yes, he can lower the boost levels with a boost controller.

but if you are at 15 psi, you can not RAISE boost levels to 20 psi using a boost controller. unless he has the 20 psi pulley system in place, and lowered boost.

does that make sense?

ask how to make on in this thread..... i believe RmcDaniels made a boost controller for a supercharged honda.

How did he get around the T-bird M90 blower being a CW blower on a CCW Honda motor?
