I’ve tried to figurer this out by myself for sometime now. At one point my turbo would show boost below 3000rpms in first gear but no power. Now it shows boost at 4000rpm and only after getting into second with a little power. I’ve run compression and leak down test. The numbers are fine on comp test and the leak down is within tolerance. My vac gauge reads 21 at idle. I’ve checked the bov for leaks and the piping as well. I’ve fixed all my vac and oil leaks. The turbo is rebuilt. I blow no smoke. The gas is 93 octane and I’ve play with the timing. I’m stuck like Chuck now….. Please help. The car is a prelude with b20a and T3 turbo .48/.49.

define amount of boost, 1 or 2 psi?

What is your ignition timing set at?

 

Right now it set to stock. I have a msd retard too.

 

Try running it minus exhaust and see if something's collapsed in there.

 

I've tried that too. Its just loud as hell.

 

engine management? spark plugs? spark plug gap?

Does is have more power then it did stock? or the same?

 

Don't have any engine management at this point. I can't rember the exact gapping on the plugs. Right now I just have a fmu and a performance gas pump. I want to get the bugs worked out berfore spend money and anything else.

 

Its turns out that my internal wastegate seems to be picky. I have boost like I should now. It just need to set just right:/

i dont know but that might have something to do with it
