boost build help

Default boost build help

hi guys im from the u.k and im planning my boost build but its a relatively new thing over here and theres not many resources.im going to be useing a b18 for the build and i just want to know your ideas and advise cause i need some especially from some experienced people.i am looking for around 400whp so i need to know what are the best components to use,what compression ratio,what the best pistons and rods and all that kind of stuff and good experienced people to talk to on your side of the pond.

First off is it a b18b? or b18c?

or b18a

either way, 9:1 CR is good for boost, eagle rods or whatever. Any racing rod will work. Same with pistions. Upgraded injectors and fuel pump is a must. Exhuast system redone with 3" all the way back. Although some will disagree, upgrading your igniton will help considerably.

Let us know what motor you have and we can help you out with a 400whp build.

also guys would it be best to use the b18c tranny or a tranny off a b18c6?
