Default BLOX B'S in turbo build

I was wondering if I can run BLOX B's comp cams in a turbo build I have a set of them from my N/A build and dont know to much about the forced induction cams. I also have a set of GSR cams laying around what would be my best bet at 10-12 psi thanks guys

From what I've seen and heard big NA cams are only really good if you have a high flowing setup that makes big power. Anything under 400-500whp and you probably want to stick with the gsr or itr cams if you can find some.

Well actually like I said I do have a set of GSR cams laying around and i have heard that a lot of turbo guys are running GSR cams in their motors. Is it necessary to clay the motor on a turbo build because obviously the N/A setup will have closer piston to valve clearance and with turbo dish pistons in a LSV/T Is it necessary or should it be done just to be sure. Always safe then sorry

If you plan on degreeing your cam gears then claying your motor is a good idea to know your limits. I wish I would have done that so I knew how far I could go with my skunk2 pro1's.

Has anyone out there ever had experience running big N/a cams in a turbo setup? is 400-500 whp obtainable on stock sleeves maybe punched .5 mm over because i would love to run the BLOX B's they made good power on my N/A build. I know this may be a stupid to you guys but just bear with me im new to the Forced induction.

given your manifold is high flowing- tubular setup the blox B's would do well on your setup. on my old topmount setup i made 17 WHP over ITR's with no tuning on my 62-1 turbo ( big turbo, 81.5 bore, big manifold)

I know of two people who are running Blox b's with gt35r's and topmounts. One on a ~1.8L, other 2.0L

Can you tell me what HP range they are running at and are the happy with the choice they made, I loved the cams in my N/A build and I want to use them again. Let me know what you think how do their setups run?

I'm not sure, they are not fully tuned. our tuner is coming down in two weeks, they will probably post their builds on here then, we should also have some vids of our runs. One is using a skunk2 pro series intake manifold, the other a full-race intake manifold, it will be interesting to see if the full-race IM and the cams idle very well lol.

i loved that setup... wouldnt have been the same without them... i dont agree with most people on this cam subject, BUT i do like what a couple others have said about high flowing motors. a motor with a big turbo, RPMs, free flowing, and higher HP will benefit more im sure...
