Default Blowby questions...

Well it has happened...I brought the car home and it the breather filter on the valve cover was spitting oil out of it. Oh well...Time for a rebuild. I just wondered what could have caused this and also is it just the rings or could it possibly be more? I was running only 7 psi, and then it started. Let me know what you guys think...THanks
