hey everyone,
i'm home in MN now for a while, and i just popped my hood to check oil, and i realized my breather filter on my boosted Y8 was dripping with some oil. its never had a trace of oil on it. so evidently i have some kind of blow by now.
ive been driving it here in pretty damn cold weather, its been around -8 F on some days. i know that on hard starts in the cold, oil can seep by... is this likely what is happening? i know the cold is very harsh and not great for engine running conditions.
any advice on this? should i be worried?

I drove my old turbo honda in the winter about 200 miles a day never had that problem. It was not near as cold here in pa as that but it was pretty cold. Does it stop smoking after the car warms up?
dont beat on your car when the engine is cold. bearing clearances as well as piston to wall clearances are too big at that point to be ******** its ***.
