Air bubbles on the dipstick?
Besides overfilling your engine with oil (since it's not the case in this situation), what else could cause air bubbles in the oil (also known as foaming I think). There's a bunch of really tiny (very very tiny) bubbles everywhere then like 4 bigger ones (still small but a lot more noticable). It only does this when the car is on and the oil is warm. When it's cold, it's fine. Just started happening when I switched to Valvoline 20W-50 Full Synthetic. This is on a built/boosted B16A.
Could oil being TOO thick cause this? Although I know a bunch of people running 20W-50 Synthetic with no problems on built motors.
I have Amsoil 10W-40 here that I was thinking about putting in but I just changed the oil with the Valvoline less than 400 miles ago.. would be a lot of wasted money.
Well any ideas please let me know. Thanks!

im not sure...but i think he's right....why are you pulling your dipstick out witht he engine running anyway?
as for the bubbles...myabe it's the thicker oil...i dnt know what kind of setup youre running(and what kind of bearingsand bottom end you have)....but if its a stock bottom end honda engine..20 weight is pretty thick...and our clearances are (imho) to small for such a thick oil
