I've been using a GE blockguard for a year and a half now with no problems. You can install it yourself, just make sure to file fit. Don't force it.

There are so many different opinions about Blockgaurds. Just do what I did read about it and then come to your own conclusions.

After doing the research I went with a GE blockguard. No overheating problems.

blockguards are funny some people have had problems using them they said that the blockguard and the sleeves stretched at diffrent temps and that lead to a cracked cylinder wall

in my opinion, the stock sleeves can hold up just as much power as a motor with a block guard.it's all in the tuning.theres people on this board that have made 400+ on stock sleeves with no blockguard.put that money in tuning.thats just my .2cent

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by JdmEKCivic &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">blockguards are funny some people have had problems using them they said that the blockguard and the sleeves stretched at diffrent temps and that lead to a cracked cylinder wall </TD></TR></TABLE>

Those people had other problems and blamed it on the blockguard.
