Default which block to use???

i just blew my b16 and im goin ls/vtec or crvtec, which block would be better to go with, ima boost it on 6 or 7 p.s.i. ima get a block guard and the GE vtec kit. how can i make the block safe for boost, what should i buy? im going with the stock b16a head. anyone have any thoughts?

get a b18b1 forged piston/rods and u wont be needing any sleevs if u stay under 400hp

ohh dont get a block guard just in case u would wanna sleevet in the future for high horse power

on 6 or 7 psi, any non vtec b series block will be fine assuming its a good tune. Personally I favor the ls block but others would be fine too.

I would use a GSR b18c1 block with your b16 head. It makes a good combo and can handle that amount of boost all day and get you 300whp on the stock block with a reliable tune.

im going witha b18a1 block.
so which pistons should i get and on what rods?
remember im goin turbo on 7 psi or so which pistons a re good for turbo and i know low compression but which ones?

Main reason a b18b1 is better is well first of all compression is 9:1 so thats fine and a B20B is just a B18B1 bored out alttle so the cylinder walls are thiner not as sttrong i mean i favor b18b1 since im in middle of boosting one my self, and for pistons i couldnt tell you but for rods go with EAGLE

and really if ur only gonna bost 7psi u dont really needa drop ur compression

pistons to chose;srp,je,cp, wiseco,manley,arias they are all forged and reliable for boost and yeah eagle rods then u can boost ,if u want more then 7 psi
