Block pictures...
the deck plate is bolted onto the block... i was wondering the same thing before as to how it was attached... u can see around the holes for the headstuds there are little holes with allen head bolts counter-sunk into the deckplate... that is how it is held down... GE drilled and tapped holes into the stock deck and put the screws in to hold it on... then once the head is torqued down i believe those wont really matter anyway... not as if i am going to take it out
as far as internals are concerned... me and my partner have spent countless hours designing this motor... we have no doubt in our minds of it working and we are trying to be a step ahead in what we are trying to build... (now i re-read that and it sounds blatant but basically we are keeping the internals of the motor a secret... sorry)
the sticker: i aquired this motor from my partner who aquired it from a friend who aquired it from lets call them person "a"...
person "a" bought a car with the motor in it and to make a long story short... got his car impounded for possesion of a stolen motor... he bought the car unkowing of this fact as the block had been re-stamped as i just recently found out... he ended up paying the state certain fines and the insurance company for the motor... this makeing it a legit motor once again... once this happens the state put a sticker on the motor... this is essentially the motors present identification #... along with the reciepts from the state as well as the insurance company as proof... the only other #'s to match up to the reciepts are the block serial #... i wouldnt know what to do if the sticker came off as it is not a normal sticker... it is the same sticker the state issues on car parts which have been replaced in the case of a 907 title... when the car is inspected that is... once the motor was bought back from the insurance company and considering the car was salvage as well... the car was inspected to make sure everything was legit on it... (everything from what had to be replaced for the salvage title as well as the unoriginal motor...) the motor was then issued the sticker... thus y we made a big deal about hot-tanking the block as we were worried it would come off and we wouldnt know what to do with it then... a block we just spent x amount of money for and we cant use it... anyone doesnt understand?
what im curious is if i can remove the deckplate if anyone knows? or if vince will see this post himself id like to know... its just that im pretty nosy and like to take things apart and put them back together to see how they work... (dont ask
)
its been taken into consideration

Hood clearance: not a prob, just run a hood with a mustang type buldge/scoop
just jk, clearance aint that bad for the d-plated motor, but its tight. External wg is the only problem that comes to mind.
oh, and.. downpipe

Project Cars are never finished...
I contemplated the GE Deckplate for an All-Motor Setup. I declined because of the added costs...Maybe for Motor-Redeuce.
