Default Block pictures...

i just recieved this block back today... i cannot release any information on who it is for or whats going in it... i know i havent seen any pictures of the deck plate yet and im sure others have been waiting to see more pictures... i have to say GE impresses me more and more each time i see there products... definately top-notch work which i have not seen beaten with products that far exceed the GE costs

(ps... the reason the block may seem a little dirty is because we requested it not be cleaned... there is an official NY State sticker on the block that cannot be taken off... we were worried it would come off so we decided not to have it cleaned by GE.)

wouldn't that change the r/s ratio, then you would need a crank with a bigger stroke because it you just put longer rods in it wouldn't do anything overall except increase deck height. Even then, wouldn't that make the rods more prone to breaking? besides more torque (which is why ls/vtec and b20 vtec guys do what they do) what are the benefits of running this setup?

I think you would run a stroker kit from eagle, and I think, the R/S ratio is around 1.75:1. I may also be way off. Im not sure..

if you run a deckplate on b16 and get a bigger crank AND longer rods you get a bigger engine with the same rod stroke raito as befor. With 84mm bore 95 mm crank and longer rods. you can end up with a 2,2l b16vtec with 1,75 r/s raito. Pot some FI on it an you got a killer.

Are there any issues with the timing belt being too short or anything else?

And there is the dummy water pump.. Allows you to use OE timing belt!

Hood clearance: not a prob, just run a hood with a mustang type buldge/scoop
just jk, clearance aint that bad for the d-plated motor, but its tight. External wg is the only problem that comes to mind.

oh, and.. downpipe

what crank is it gonna run...

I talked with vince about building me a 2207cc b-series motor that used an 95mm eagle stroker crank. Is this what your using. I assume the bore is less than 85 if your going FI??? What are the plans for the block?

Yeah, I'm in Jersey too. I don't know anyone with those stickers.

Is it like those mattress stickers that say "It is a federal crime to remove this tag." Hehe
