Blew headgasket or cracked sleeve??
I finally finished my car. Got a ej8 with a built build ls vtec just not sleeved has cp pistons, eagle rods, acl bearings, everything was checked and in spec at the machine shop. Fully built type r head. Running a gt35r with a e cover. I was getting street tuned last night when out of no where white smoke everywhere and car shuts off. Safely pull over and smell coolant and pop open the head and coolant every where on top of my hood every where in the bay. I was only tuning on 7psi to just get the car running till i get dynoed tune. It has arp headstuds and were re torqued. I had this motor running perfect i just fucked up my tranny last time so my car was down for a bit when i was rebuilding the tranny i also upgraded more stuff to the motor thats why i was getting re tuned. So i havent checked much due to working everyday but the car barely turns over and sputters and turns right off. I checked my plugs and cylinder 1 was dry 2 was wet 3 was dry and 4 was wet. Did i crack a sleeve or blew a headgasket going to do a compression test tonight

Yeah, Here was no point in even putting in CROME when you had your Hondata ready to tune. Only way to tell is to take head off. Either way, it must come off to either do another head gasket or check for a cracked sleeve..
That'll learn ya. When it's all done, do the hondata a limp it to the dyno.

Yea i wanted to tune on hondata but my street tuner cant tune on hondata. And my other tuner that dyno tunes my car to the limit is like 4 hrs from me.. So i had to do a lil street tune on crome to get there

ya that doesnt make sense...
crome is actually more difficult to tune than hondata is,
dont think your tuner knows wtf is going on

Nothing wrong with crome... it all depends on the tuner and his comfort level with it. But as stated earlier, time to take off the head and see what the deal is... Im curious to see the compression test on all 4...

no use in trying to speculate what is wrong without pulling the motor apart, as it is clearly hurt at this point.
can use crome but not hondata? you need to find a different "tuner".

Hondata is very user friendly.
