Default Are bleeder valve type boost controllers bad?

I'm looking at getting the TurboXS dual stage boost controller, but I think both controllers are using bleeder valves? Are these prone to boost spiking? Anyone here use the TurboXS one? TIA

They aren't bad, less chance of something messing up, but there are better in my opinion. I have the standard turboxs mbc and it gets the job done, I would like to get a greddy profec b. As far as bleeder valve types go, the ones that include some type of ball and spring would be better than just a standard one. The ball and spring help the turbo spool up a little faster since the wastegate doesn't see boost until a preset level.
