Are you using steel charge pipes? I might have a fix for the iat, early CRV iat screws into manifold like an O2 sensor so I got one then used a steel nut as a bung welded it to my charge piping.Just adding some food for thought.

Im very excited to see your results with the new cam, so far so good i would say!

My car has a very similar turbo setup, with very diferant results. I just got off the dyno and am not happy with results so far. The car made 320/250tq 18psi tq dropped hard at 6500rpm

I have came to the conclusion that the 59500 isnt going to work for me. Thought i would give it a try. I will be in touch bisi. I want to give your cam a try now.

VERY NICE! That is indeed a rediculously fat powerband, probably the best I've ever seen out of a D16.

Looks like that 'Bisi cam is indeed all it's cracked up to be. Good job!

dual walbros sir

went to the track this weekend. got a nasty 2.1-2.2 60fts with 24.5x9 mts on lensos. with 131mph. = 12.1sec

power band was unbelivable. shifting ONLY at 8.5t cutoff doenst fall out of boost even if no fts. but spins like on crappy tires. oh well

maybe because i'm shifting too slow and we don't have a well prepped track here. no traction for high powered cars ftl

In for results. I recently got word from a well respected tuner that the bisi grind was not what its hyped up to be.

well regarding the short shifting, should not make much of a differance with your power-band. and the lack of traction would only affect ET as im sure you know, it would need to horrific before it starts to make anything over 2-3 mph differance in trap, unless your still spinning them over the line (which there can be no way at 130) people have trapped well over 150 on the 24.5" tyre, so they can clearly hold the power.

maybe it was snowing

i dont think you understand. the track conditions can not possibly be so poor that he his over 10mph down on trap, 2-3 yes, not much more. have a noisey around some simulators and play with 60ft`s, ET will vary greatly, trap speed will not. im not trying to call bs, im simply pointing out the facts, as someone would of soon enough either way, this is an experianced club after all.

Anyone have results for zex vs bisi cam?

Here's a dyno posted by bisi on his vault.

The setup
Stock D16Z6
Ebay kit
2.5" piping
Bisimoto level 1.2 vs Zex 59300
8 psi wastegate spring
Bisimoto gain: 50 whp and 35 ft/lbs

I wonder what turbo was used?

Here's a dyno using the zex cam

That zex cam dyno seems way low. I know it's an ebay setup and only 8 psi but only 160hp? Something is off
