Re: Bisimoto Turbo Cams??
1. why are they revving to different rpms?
2. what turbo/turbo kit was used?
3. there is an issue with that graph as i have seen N/A d series make that much power. so.......
It look suspect as all hell.

Re: Bisimoto Turbo Cams??
Once again, this was customer's stock d with an Ebay kit, and the only other difference was a cam swap, with proper degreeing in of the cam. The test was also repeated to verify validity. It was painfully obvious that there was no need to rev the engine significantly past the peak whp point. The shift in powerbands are as a result of camshaft duration differences.
There are other dynos floating on the net with also favorable results. I hope that helps.
More info can be viewed in our dyno vault: http://www.bisimoto.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=30
I understand the doubts in the mind of certain enthusiasts, as I am used to it based upon our successes. The Honda scene has been plagued with liars and dishonest companies. Look into the reputation of Bisimoto Engineering: we are not cut of this cloth.

Re: Bisimoto Turbo Cams??
Didn't you make more power with fewer lbs on the previous motor? Wasn't it with a stock, or a different cam?
What all is different on this setup vs the last?

Re: Bisimoto Turbo Cams??
That said, the 609 motor that used the 59500 cam was quite different from this one -
This motor was a total quicky throw together, no decking the block or anything, this IM wasn't port matched, rushed head port job, no porting on the oil pump, etc.
This motor is also only 7.5:1 c/r with no quench, compared to the last motor that was 8.5+:1 c/r with tight quench and custom length rods.
Manifold wise, this has a ramhorn on it vs. our topmount we had on the last one.

Re: Bisimoto Turbo Cams??
Actually if anything this one held a hair less boost on the dyno. The difference in power between the last motor and this one is only ~20-25ft-lbs of torque across the powerband, which equates to 40-50whp at high rpm.

Re: Bisimoto Turbo Cams??
WOW, those are some pretty impressive numbers and gains.
I want to get with you after I get some extra funds to see if you think there is any improvement possible over my current basic regrind cam from you in my F22b1 with a little boost.

Re: Bisimoto Turbo Cams??
Bisi the article stated that your 2.4 cam was streetable with a little lopey idle and your website made it sound like it wasn't very streetable. I just want to hear what you say I am very interested in picking up that cam.

Re: Bisimoto Turbo Cams??
The idle is slightly lopey with the level 2.4, and to give you any consolation, I run a 3.6 bisimoto cam in my street wagon!
Feel free to call in to 888-9-BC-MOTO (888-922-6686), or contact any of our dealers worldwide to order.
