Re: Better than the new Uberdata? (Drag_On)
last I knew it was OBD0 only, whereas Uberdata is OBD1 only. so, I guess it is better if you happen to be running an OBD0 setup

i dont know how you could compare them since they are for different sets of ecus for now.
there are several other rom editors out there in development, also.

CROME is the ****. Soon to be supporting OBD0 as well, as it is true that you just have to know the table offsets and such. It supports scripting, so everyone can add their little part.

Re: Better than the new Uberdata? (turbo sol)
OBD-0, mmmm, can't wait for datalogging. I spent all day datalogging / tuning on Link Plus trying to get rid of nasty engine knock. Standalones rock.

What are you using the Link Plus on? I helped my friend set one up with an rb26, have not seen to many other people that use it or know much about it. I believe he was having some knock issues as well that were holding him back, I know his timing was being very inconsistent each pull.

Re: Better than the new Uberdata? (omahaturbocivic)
Link Plus is being used on a Subaru RS2.5 Turbo, ludespeed stage 3 kit, 9PSI today. I have another friend running 13PSI on a stock Subaru 1.6 block. I'm really liking how much control you have with Link Plus and datalogging is the best tool ever.
As for the program in topic, I downloaded it, seems pretty incomplete but promising. Hopefully by spring they have scalable maps, 3 bar support and datalogging or else I'll be converting to OBD-1.

Re: Better than the new Uberdata? (sporkcrx)
Just wanted to bump this, he just added support for OBD-0 PR3, I think this is the first free editor that has OBD-0 PR3 support.
