better engine to turbo B or H
the B18c1 or the H22 the H22 is appealing becuase its cheap as **** but people seem to have problems with axles and i heard that the ringlandings can't handle that much boost. I've seen more b18's turbo than H22 but the H22 in a hatch would be faster off the bat so would it also be faster with a rev hard kit than a b18c1 with a rev hard kit
H22 suck there side walls are made some kind of material that cant take boost all that well. my friend put a set of aftermarket pistons in his it destoryed the side walls now its getting sleeved. h22 is also more heavier than the b series, but by far there are far more bseries parts than h22 parts. i could go on forever how great a b series is and how abundant parts are for them but you make your own judgement.

Side Walls.......and what kind of material is that.
Well my friend has one and his hasn't bother him one bit. Been boostin for about 6 months. I would say b but if you can afford h I would say H

the cylinder walls of the H22 is made differently than the b series. This factor has nothing to do with boost, but it does with forged pistons...so if you are planning on running a stock bottom end you shouldn't care at all. If you are going to build the bottom end, you will have to sleeve the h22.
personally, i would build up a b18c over a h22 anyday.

I would go B series without a doubt. H series bottom ends aren't as strong stock for stock... and then if you wanna make big power, notice how many fast big power hondas run an H series and how many run a B series. Almost all run a B series. Just my $.02
