I own a ITR turbo and I'm wondering which is a better engine management system, the Greddy Emanage or Hondata? the mechanic I know recommends Greddy Emanage, but I know a lot of guys run Hondata and i'm just wondering overall which is the better unit?

hondata is by far better but just save moeny and get aem

 

between those two, go with the hondata

Although, there are many betters units on the market..

 

AEM EMS is the first choice, then neptune

 

Out of those 2, Hondata for sure, but I would save up and go with AEM EMS anyday!

 

Find somebody that can chip your ECU and use a free ROM editor.

hondata is a hassle to screw with.. get the plug and play AEM EMS.. #1 for simplicity!!!!

i would rank them in this order. people are making 600 700 800 on neptune. i run uberdata but unless you want to spend some time with it or know someone who has used it, i might consider others. money aside, i would run them in this order.

1) neptune
2) uberdata
3) hondata

and i would not go back to your "mechanic" that told you emanage was good. thats the same as running the AFC hack.
