best way to find a vac leak?
i MAY have a vacuum leak. maybe not. my idle vac is occasionally as much as 20 but more often 18 or so. if i haven't driven for 5-10 minutes, it's 15-16.
there is a hissing sound coming from a few hoses near the inlet side of my blower, but i think that may be normal. some suggested spraying carb cleaner one area at a time and waiting for the engine to rev or change pitch. is this safe? the carb cleaner would be going through the blower....
or, is there a better way to find or rule out a vac leak? tia.
