Default best top mount

I'm the progress of building my 3rd b18b turbo. I will buy my friend old block rod/pistons with crower 404 and his 5858 turbo.
But the years have past and I am confused with all the new brand of manifold on the market.
My old rld fab ramhorn cracked at the wastegate and I dont want this anymore.
So my choice are, sheepy built (little bit pricey but good review), speedfactory (reasonnable price and look like a reputable compagny), bwr (good price but bad review), full-race ( ridiculous price).
Witch one is the best bang for the buck.

The block already push 397whp on pump gas
I plan to run it on e85 eventualy and raised the boost to is limit, hope reaching 500+

If this is going to be used as a street car in any way, i'd consider something with smaller runners. A Sheepey ramhorn is $300 less than the topmount...

I will run it in the street only to go to the track because I cant afford a truck and a trailer this year. My plan is 500 with this block but next goal is a 700+ in 2 years.
I love the front faced too but I think it will be a very bad idea in the streets.

Then just plan for the 700whp from the beginning. Whether you drive on the street with the turbo at over 500whp which is capable of 700whp is going to be a pain in the *** anyway, so, just reach for the stars the first time around.

There is no "best" topmount.. Your question is more to the point of ... "The best topmount you can afford.. Since no one knows what you can afford, go through the general names of mass-customized manufacturers as well as the smaller ones, and choose from that based upon your budget.

So.. Let's go by the main list

Sheepey Inc
Go-Autoworks
Whitfield Racing...
Full-Race.com
BWR

Then you can go by the smaller manufacturers that sell on H-T

Treblic Tuned(?)
RLD
BRMS

There's a whole list of shop acronyms that are dedicated to drag racing I'm sure I'm missing. Either way, make sure that they are willing to ship international and account for the duties accordingly.

They all use good materials to weld with, the differences are the welders and their quality control of consistency. the more expensive ones use stainless steel cylinder head and turbine weld flanges, while the lesser ones use mild steel for those specific components

I understand the point of doing 700 from the start but I have a very good deal on this set up and I will probably sell it for the same price in 2 years. The only thing is I will be limited to a t3 flange because of the actual turbo but the 6267 is rated 735bhp with a t3.
I want to drive it this year and to me its always nice to upgrade a car.

*actual turbo is a 5858

Heh. You realize how high these T3's can utilize?

And 735hp is different from 700whp, which is at the actual wheels.

Either way, plan for 700whp from the start with all the other equipment. if that means running a topmount, then fine, run the topmount. But when you say 500hp, that's a completely different set of characteristics that H-T users understand from your statements.

Get whatever turbo you want. But my logic still applies.
