I would say eagles because I have a set and they are cheaper, but I've not seen them used for heavy, heavy boosting. I'm pretty sure they can take the beating, but probably just don't have the name in our scene like crower or pauter...Just buy 2 sets of eagles...if you bend one, then just slap in the other set. Would be about 50 bucks cheaper than Crowers. Remember though, not everything is bulletproof

The Eagle/Endyn rods are made by eagle but Endyn helped in the design and testing. My vote goes for the Eagle rods since i've seen both the crower and the eagle and the only real difference was the price. One is an H design and the other an I design but both are about the same "beefiness" and are excellent quality.

Re: Best rods for heavy boost? (QuickHonda)
I've heard stories of motors that kept causing the rods to fail, and this mechanic SWORE by crower rods... 5 sets of rods later, this guy is enfuriated with crower and buys the dreaded Hochiman Trail rods <AKA eagle, they get this name because their materials are forged in Malaysia I think> Anyway, FOR ONCE the motor holds up, and now guess what company that mechanic swears by.... EAGLE.
My choice for the rest of my engine building/breaking life... Eagle.

JG = Just Go somewhere else.
Crowers are good rods. Pauters are good rods. I am on the fence about eagles. For any engine other then honda, I get crower for sure. Sounds like they may have had some quality control issues though. Pauters are good if you have money burning a hole in your pocket and you jsut have to pay the most for rods.
Eagles... hmmm.. Any other engine and I say run far away from them. But, as far as Honda/Eagle goes.. never heard a bad thing. We'll see how they perform in the coming years.

Personally I think any of the above rods work, just depends on what YOU want to run and what you want to PAY. Personally I would just get some eagle rods.

Has anyone had their stock B rods shot-peened and balanced?
With proper fuel, do you think they could handle 15psi or so?
I'm really trying to save the majority of my budget for engine management.
