None of the non-Vtec heads have amazing flow characteristics, so imho if you already have the cam and valvetrain done on the A6, go with that casting and feed her some boost. Without getting into a full on valve job and port modifications I don't belie you would see much of a difference between a stock y7 and a6 head. One other thing to look at would be the siZe of the chambers between the two heads and what each would do for your CR, but flow wise your talking a difference of a few cfm between the two stock for stock.

In that case if there is only a minor difference well i think i will use de a6 head with the racing camshaft , cause that camshaft wont fit on the y7 head . Thank you

I'm not super familiar with any of the single cam non Vtec setups, but I know the difference in airflow between those two heads wouldn't be anything noticed if even any difference at all. They may very well be the exact same casting. The main thing I would research on your end would just be the chamber size and it's effect on compression with the block/piston combo your using it with. As for the cam, why would your race cam not swap over to the Y7 head? If you use the appropriate cam gear and valvetrain components and properly set timing after install I don't see where the problem would lie unless it's because of the OBD class differences.

The A6 cam won't work with the Y7. Y7 head has some pretty small intake ports. Z6 is suppose to be the best flowing D16 head and you can swap the Y7 cam and rockers to the Z6 head for a decent non vtec setup. Probably won't be as good as the A6 head with the performance camshaft though since the Y7 cam is kind of mild.

I can also verify the cams are certainly not interchangeable.
