DT race division vtec lock kit
has anyone installed this vtec lock kit from DT race division? they use spacers instead of lock pins. can't get ahold of them to show how to install. any help would be appreciated! thanks. b series head
With their kit you'll still need to use the factory pins and add the spacer to push the pin over to engage vtec all the time.
Kits the like SF one replace all the oem components with a titanium pin. Hth

With stiff valvesprings you'll have tons of cam and rocker wear problems. You need a cam designed to workwith vtec being locked and run slightly softer valvesprings. Not to mention it won't idle worth a ****, will make horrible power below 6,000rpm and you need some way to tune the car, which tuning with vteclocked can be a bitch .

I also like SpeedFactorys kit better because it uses one piece titanium rods. No bullshit spacers that can develop play or pop out. Also the stock pins were never designed for that kind of operation and could easily break.

So now titanium is stronger than steel?
