new hot pics of the downpipe that the wife got me for xmas. also got my hands on a -10an drain fitting because the 45 would not work off the turbo. and a turbine gasket. now i can trim the oil return line to proper length and get that completed.
I have had thoughts that i would have to notch the frame rail with this downpipe being that it was fabricated for a t3 turbine not t4. i thought the downpipe would be pushed to the frame more and i would have to do some notching.well this doesnt happen.
i tried to install the dp between the mani and frame from the top, oops, v band flange doesnt clear. well i slid the downpipe under the manifold horizontally, slid the bend up in bewtween the mani and the frame and did a couple twists and a 180, then 180 back and sure as **** it fits fine.. now the lack of a vband clamp haunts me..haha. i cant actually put it on the car says the wife until christmas. haha sucks but oh well.
I am picking up a tial 44 w/g in the coming week and gonna start the car for the first time in awhile..take a cruise around the block and get some oil pumped back up in there.
til then, cheers

just an update 12/07/08
- Got some parts in, work has been slow as ****. been coming home everyday for the past month at or around 2pm.
i havent changed anypart of the setup but i have the following parts ordered of in hand.
- 3" PFab Downpipe V-Band
- Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
- Turbine gasket
- -10an straight drain fitting
- TiAl 44mm Wastegate.
Items remaining:
- Intercooler Piping
- Precision 1000's
getting close to being done. i really need to start the car soon to get some oil circulated. like the wifey said, you gonna get the car done and its going to be winter time with snow on the ground and youre not going to be able to drive it, and it does what today SNOW!! wtf.
after i install the dp and wg im going to start the car on stock injectors to get some oil flowed through it and check for leaks on the oil lines etc. which i am going to cut the drain line tuesday and finish that up.
til more pics and updates, cheers!

haha ill post some more pics later, im on the lappy now without a card reader to upload the pics of what i did tonight. getting ready to watch the skins game! w00t w00t. steelers ftmfw and f dallas!!!
my camera is Olympus e-500 slr 8.0mp pretty much the best for you money. i have 2 lenses that i shoot with and thats it for now. after the car is done this is where my money is going into.
and casey, the f20c engine has forged internals stock. research the power that s2k's are putting out with stock blocks..hehe

stock s2k motors are pretty damn strong. they've been known to make 400whp-ish on the stock block. my only concern would be high CR, but with a good tune, good gas (which is hard to come by for me and i hate that), and some know-how there shouldn't be any problems. Good luck!

I would love to hear your logic behind this post. I could post over 10 s2000's that are making 500+whp on a bone stock motor. Someone have a thicker headgasket and some are bone stock. Mine has made 400+ on 93 octane and 550 on 116 octane. It has been beat on. By no means have I babied that car on these boost level's. The car is currently being built by T1 and we will put the stock block to the test on a s372. That build can be found in the drag racing section.

i hear you on the gas.. but i am running a thicker headgasket. i have lowered the static cr to 9:1 with the headgasket.
take in mind, that the 500 whp goal is just a number that i would like to hit.
i am not looking for a dyno queen, i am looking for good powerband than peak numbers, which, alot of people on this site and many of others are concerned about. but im sure some of you know that peak hp numbers mean nothing..

- Today i got off work early after doing a cod trans on an 03 tl at work..w00t to that. I came home and procdeded to work on the s2k.
I installed the downpipe since wifey said who cares theres only 10 days left til i leave so just put it on..! w00t..
Yesterday i received the TiAl 44 w/g in red. and also the 2 v-band clamps that i ordered.
Today i installed the wastegate, downipe, and cut the oil line and installed the drain finally.
I wanted to do something better with the vacuum lines to the wastegate and bov. Other than the mickey mouse looking fittings that come with the bov. so upon research i have found hard nylon vacuum line as well as push-lok fittings that screw into the inlets. The line is actually air-brake line for big-rigs etc. it is 1/4" as well as the 1/4" NPT fittings. I got 1 straight and 1 90 for the wastegate and a 90 for the bov.
When i installed the wg this evening i didnt think that i wouldnt beable to get the fitting in the hole since the wg comes very close to the engine mount. So **** on that, have to take the wg back off to screw in the fitting then re-install.
I also cut the oil drain and assembled the an fittings and now that is complete, installed the stock injectors , topped the car off with coolant and now i am almost ready to start the car , lack there of a battery relocation but i am going to use a jump box from work to just do a preliminary check for leaks etc.
anywho on with the sweet pics, sorry no pics of the wifey,, yet....
:D :D
sorry about the sumwhat shitty pic quality.shrug.
