1bar = 14.5psi
isn't it 14.7 PSI? I thought 1 bar = 1 atmosphere = 14.7 PSI

EDIT: to convert PSI to BAR:

PSI / 14.5 = BAR

Christian you are right:
14.7= atmospheric pressure
14.5= 1bar
14.7 is atmospheric 1 Bar and 14.5 is boost 1 Bar (or so )

Christian you are right:

14.7 is atmospheric 1 Bar and 14.5 is boost 1 Bar (or so )

so let me get this straight,
Vacuum = 0 PSI
Atmospheric = vacuum + 14.7 PSI

hmm I thought that Atmospheric was 1 Bar above Vacuum
, is it actually Atmospheric = 1.013 BAR above Vacuum?

EDIT: never mind I used that site and atmo IS 1.013 above vacuum

Perfect vacuum is 0psi...like out in space. Atmospheric (at sea level) is 14.7psi, but reads 0 on your friendly boost gauge.
