Default ... balanced crank... necessary/recommended...???

... when building a motor with eagle rods and je pistons, it is necessary to have the crank balanced?... lemme know... thanks...

its reccommend you balance your entire lower assembly. it just common practice to keep your motor safe.

My shop just balanced my crank, pulley(w/bolt), pressure plate(with bolts), clutch disc, flywheel (w/bolts), rods (w/bolts), pistons, wristpins/retaining clips for $120.

Every shop is different in what they need as far as bolts. I listed above what my shop needed to do the balancing.
