My station changed from 76 blue 100 to VP amber 100. The car was running very strong and started running crappy on the VP. It spits and sputters and dies at idle frequently. Would the change in specific gravity from 0.76 to 0.73 cause this great of a change or did I get a bad batch of fuel? Anyone with experience.

I'm currently running 10.3 :1 compression and 16 lbs boost.

 

Anybody with experience with specific gravity and fuels?

 

Well, changed to 91 octane, retuned and pulled 447 rwhp.

It was the gas.
