It won't make a difference if it was done right. So there.. 1 keyword.

Anymore input guys? The soldering doesn't look as bad as in the picture I took. I guess we won't know until I burn a new chip.

Burn a new chip and post up...

Generally 1980 board ECUs seem to be less tempermental...I dont know why, they just do for me.

Tried a new chip and new ecu and the surging idle is still there. What could it be? I've tried two iacv's, tested for boost and vacuum leaks, and it's still surging from 1200-1700. The vacuum reads at a steady 20in/hg. It runs fine on my stock p2p ecu and shows no codes.

Fixed all the leaks today and took it up to full boost (8.8 psi) even though I wasn't supposed to. It runs top notch aside from the surging idle and cel that I will have to fix tomorrow. Ecu and chip are fine I guess.

Haven't tried that. I don't have a chip burner on hand so it's kind of hard for me to try new chips over and over.

You could try selling your car. That would eliminate all the problems.

My car has been running fine until I put my turbo on. I see no reason to sell. It's probably just some small thing.
