Default b20b block with b18 head

I'm currently boosted @ 5psi with a t4 turbo and stock internals.
I want to be able to boost @ 10-12psi safely.
Would I absolutely have to get a full set of forged internals to be able to run 10-12 pounds with a stock b20b block?

What size turbo do you have? T4 is a pretty big flange but doesn't specify size. Also how much power do you plan on making?

i was stock b20z block, built b1 head on 10lbs no problem. Should look into getting arp rod bolts though. Im throwing on a vtec head now and looking for a machine shop in my area to put in arp rod bolts for a sense of security for the bottom end.

No T4 housing has a .63 A/R, that's a T3 housing. Furthermore, still not enough info.

well, the ARP's need the rods taken out to be re-sized. if your going thru all that, might as well change up the pistons and rods with a fresh hone and rings. Its alot more work, but will be worth it in the end..

even if you had to stay NA for a while, you can get some ITR replica pistons and bring your CR to 10.X and then use low boost when u decide to boost later on.

Youll have a tune already, some decent #'s till you boost. Rods are cheap, Found a great deal on some rods PM me if interested.

But heres the pistons

Just an option.. I mean, your going to have everything out of the block already..

After my build, i wish i wouldve done this option.
