Default B20 Turbo Newb

Hi guys, I have a B20z VTEC that I'm planning to turbo, compression is on 9.6 and i currently have a Garret T3/T4 turbo with what I'm told has a stage 5 exhaust wheel and a .63 A/R
It's a street car but I'd like it to still make power/accelerate to 8000rpm easily, will this turbo be ok for that or would I need something else which may be more efficient?
I've been advised to use a SC32 turbo?
I'll be running pump fuel with a AIS meth kit running straight meth

What are your power goals? That big stage 5 wheel may hurt the turbo's response time as far as spool. Depends on what you wanna do with the car and what type of powerband you looking for. Is this your DD? What wheel is on the compressor side?

It's my DD yeah
I'm looking to make as much as possible at 0.8 bar on race days and run around to work and so on at 0.5 bar
When it's not gonna be used to get around I'm gonna be using it for drags only

No idea about the compressor side but here are some pics if it helps

Try not to base power goals on psi, as different turbos make different power at different pressure levels. If your gonna run stock internals, i'd suggest you keep it under the 300 whp level, as you will start adding mucho stress to those stock pistons and rods at that point. Also make sure you have a reputable tuner that you trust tuning your car.

Comb around in this thread, also. There are several B20/VTEC cars in here. Good luck.
