anyone used this turbo?
So i'm buying a turbo to start the build on my stock block ls/vtec build. I'm going with a smaller turbo at first and i'm getting this turbo from my friend. It's a Borg Warner S360RS. it has a .70 ar turbine housing
Compressor Specs:
-S200 housing 4" ported shroud inlet 2" outlet
-60.02mm/83.46mm 69lbs/min extended tip compressor wheel
Turbine Specs:
-65mm exducer, 74mm inducer turbine wheel
I'm just wandering if anyone has used this turbo or anything like it and what power/times you've made out of it. Just wanting a general idea of what people are doing with it. Thanks guys

Its an AGP unit that uses a P-trim exhaust wheel with a NON-Extended tip (though AGP claims that it is) and makes decent power and squeezed into a larger compressor cover than what is listed. It works, makes power, but for $1150, there are plenty of others that can make the same power.

I'm not paying even close to that amount for the turbo. I wouldnt pay that for it in a million years considering I can buy the precision 6768 for that amount. I'm just getting a good deal on it and wandered if anyone had used it on a Honda engine.

Plenty of people have used diesel turbos off trucks and made decent power. You can always change turbine wheels and a housing/backplate if you want. Totally changing turbos isn't necessary.
What I see as more of an issue is some of these turbos have V-band fittings on the inducer and exducer on the hot side or two bolt fittings on the cold side. Not hard to deal with, but extra cost for adapters.

well this isn't a diesel turbo like some of the holsets and BW's. This has a 4 bolt outlet from the turbine and a 2" outlet on the compressor side. I called bullseye and they said they can get me a new turbine housing but it would be like $250. for that i'll sell the turbo, save a lil while and put a pte 6768 or a bw91-79.

I'll be going with the new precision sometime in the fall. Funds are low right now and my friend is helping me out so I'll begging with the s360rs for now. I plan on bolting up the 6768 to a built/sleeved block and cranking it up
