Default B20

I think I want to go with a b20 at the end of this summer and build it through next year. Right now I am running a first gen b16. Now can I keep the same tranny? Im thinking so, just because they are both b series. Does anyone else on here run a FI B20, I am sure some of you do. How much power do these things make at say 10 lbs on a t3t4? I think I am going to go with a hondata as well if that makes any difference. What is the redline? And, how reliable are they if properly tuned? I tried a search, but I didnt find anything. If anyone has a site to recommend that would be great as well!! Thanks for the help - Matt

Yes, you can keep your tranny, and your head too.

I checked them out. I didnt see any prices though. At sohfast a long block is 799 so I kind of want to do that and have it built by this place locally.

I'm building one right now...fully built b20z with b16 head and t3/t4 turbo. I spoke to Jeff at Import Builders a few times and he was very helpful in coming up with a buildup to suite my goals. I'm going to run 14psi with estimated HP figures around 400hp.

Also talk to Immortal. He was doing a similar build up in his Integra before he decided to buy a supra. He know's his stuff.

How much is this project costing you. Assuming I already have a b16 head and tranny. What all are you doing? Thanks I also have the turbo system as well. What are you using for fuel etc etc....

Nice. I think I want to do about the same thing. Maybe not as all out as taht though. We will see. I just want a reliable 300 hp. I am thinking the best way of doing that is with the b20. Well see what happens though. Thanks for the list!!
