b18c1 Turbo....Ways of getting additional power???
Hi I am currently running a Precision t3/t04e 60ar compressor 63ar turbine 57trim.
My setup is the following:
Inlinepro Manifold
Arias 9:1 Pistons
Eagle connecting rods
Tial 35mm Waste.
precision big front mount
HKS SSQ bov
Custom 2.5 dp
2.5 intercooler piping.
Walbora 255 fuel pump
Vortech FMU 12:1
Vafc
Inlinepro Cam gears
Apexi Dunk Exhaust
RC 370cc injectors
Inlinepro STainless steel valves.
It put down 283whp and 205lbtq on 12psi running rich (to be safe as well)
My question now is...How can I get more power out of this that an everyday average turbo gsr doesn't have? I would like 350whp daily off 93octane. Can this be accomplished? If so how? Any suggestions or previous experience help would be appreciated. I just want to be faster then an average turbo gsr. Thanks.

I was reading on here that the fmu doesn't rob too much power, as long as you have the air fuel ratio correct. But yea, some more in depth tuning would add more power, the kind you can get from uberdata or some type of standalone.
Also, that 2.5 dp is probally stealing some power. What exhaust are you running? Are you using a cat? How about just turning up the boost, you have pistons and rods, why not run 15psi?

I believe i was told running 15psi daily off pump gas on an afc would run pretty dirty which is why.

Like everyone else I would say a standalone and tuning first. Next you can get a 3" exhaust, skunk 2 IM or JG IM and 65 mm TB. Lastly a minor p & p, .5mm oversized valves, CTR or ITR cams.

yeah with an FMU i'm sure your fuel pressures would be quite high at 15psi. sounds like its time for a standalone
edit: i just realized that you're limited with the stock map sensor max (12psi or so) as well. if you run a standalone, you can upgrade to a map sensor that reads a bigger range (3bar, etc)

Thanks. 14 psi daily for a year so far. 10.5- 11.0 a/f (conservative because I have a heavy foot) Once I get the second part of the mods I listed above and tune to 12.0 a/f I should get 350whp +

Darton deck
9:1 JE pistons
Crower rods
750cc injectors
hondata 2b
precision SC 61 turbo
spearco intercooler 24 x 8 x 3.5
SFP turbo manifold
Tial 40 mm
hks racing bov
Clutchmaster 3 clutch
mbc
Cometic headgasket
2.5 downpipe
2.25 greddy exhaust

Re: (jdmjerk)
Do all that, but I still don't think you'll be faster than the average turbo gsr, because a lot of people take their time to piece together a kit and do it the right way.
And if I knew a secret that would make my car faster than someone else's with equal mods, I don't think I'd share it.

well, in that case like Arturbo and many other expierenced members in this board have said... you have to think outside the box... dont do what everyone else is doing...dont be a follower or you will end up asking this same question again eventually... yeah, you want to make some good power but if you could put all of it to the ground then you would really be tearing some **** up & beating cars with more hp

Work on the suspension to make it perfect.
LSD if you don't have one.
Motor Mounts, etc.
anything you can do to successfully put that power to the ground.
Also, as everyone has said above Hondata/Uberdata, tuning..tuning...tuning!
A bigger exhaust/downpipe wouldn't hurt.
