b18c turbo lightly smokes blue (oil) at idle.
I havnt drivin on public roads yet, but so far at idle its lightly, i mean very lightly smoking blue smoke, aka oil. After it warms up, seems to go away. Think i need an oil restrictor to lessen the oil pressure in the turbo bearing cartridge?
Running -3 line on the oil feed. No oil restrictor. Oil return line is -10 and routed properly, steady 40-50 PSI at idle. thanks

Re: (jdmhonda)
my car idles a little on the high side, maybe 1100ish. Kinda sucks because i have no IAC with the venom intake mani. It was probably 40psi at 1300ishRPM and it was definatly cold when i looked at the gauge. I didnt check after it heated up. Tach could be off slightly as well.
-no kinks anywhere in any lines whatsoever.
In any case, could the smoking be due to no oil restrictor?

Re: (Ls1 FD3s)
I dont think that with a -3 line you should need a restrictor
BUT, since you are running such a high oil pressure I would buy one.
I need one also, if you find a place with a good deal let me know
