B18B Turbo Question's
Supz guys I did a few searchs on here but still had a few questions. I'm planning on turboing my ls motor, my main questions are if I keep my boost at like 6-7 lbs would that be pretty safe for a reliable daily driver. And also if I rarely beat on it and keep it well checked up on as in oil changes and tune ups should my ls motor last a pretty long time? A shop is doing all the work and tunning is there any real issue I should be worried about, if you all could post any info would be great. Like I said still all very new to forced induction. Setup is pretty basic and trying to remember off the top of my head. One thing I left out how well will my stock lsd handle to the new power I'm shooting for 200-230.

Stock LSD Gsr tranny

200-230 hp is perfectly safe as long as it's tuned. It will be as reliable as you make it. If you buy new stuff and have it installed somewhere that knows what they're doing then it'll probably be pretty reliable. I used to run my B20 on 9 psi putting down about 260 hp. It wasn't super fast but it was fun and reliable. Id ditch your fuel setup and get something tunable. I had a hondata setup and it was pretty good.

I run 10lbs on a stock LS with ARP headstuds, an oil cooler, walbro 255 fuel pump and dsm440cc injectors. Everything was tuned with Hondata s200b and it runs great and has for about 6 months now. I did a compression test just the other day and everything is perfect.
Some things to consider:
Better radiator or oil cooler
Make sure you don't get a piece of **** turbo manifold that is stainless steel cuz it WILL crack
Have a bung welded on the oil pan for the oil return or get a new oil pan that has a bung already on it
