b18 swap question
I am having a problem deciding on what to do.I am doing a swap in my hatch and don't know if I want to get a b18c5 and put it straight in with a nx nxl kit until I save to be able to build it for boost also or do b18c1 with a turbo right now.I could build a ls bottom with a dart head and boost it with a small shot also but I really don't know what to do.I need some input on this please.
Just a thought.This is the reason I am asking to get some opinions.I want to make mad power but still daily drive my car.Most of the guys in my area run mustangs and s10s with sbcs which I have no problem with them because I have a s10 blazer with a sbc but want to build another import.They all ask me why all the time. I use to have a 01 type r with exhaust,aem intake,& 70 dry shot on slicks with a 198 60 ft spinning first 2 gears it ran 8.32 in the 1/8th. I just want to prove to them that I can build something to run with them.Most of them are running high 6s low 7s in the 1/8th.
