I am having a problem deciding on what to do.I am doing a swap in my hatch and don't know if I want to get a b18c5 and put it straight in with a nx nxl kit until I save to be able to build it for boost also or do b18c1 with a turbo right now.I could build a ls bottom with a dart head and boost it with a small shot also but I really don't know what to do.I need some input on this please.

 

if your going to build it anyway, i would just build the ls motor and push some high boost. you can shortblock for pretty cheap. thats my opinion though.

 

LS TURBO... you dont need Vtec to run 10s

 

Well if I went with the ls bottom I was going to put a vtec head on it.

Just a thought.This is the reason I am asking to get some opinions.I want to make mad power but still daily drive my car.Most of the guys in my area run mustangs and s10s with sbcs which I have no problem with them because I have a s10 blazer with a sbc but want to build another import.They all ask me why all the time. I use to have a 01 type r with exhaust,aem intake,& 70 dry shot on slicks with a 198 60 ft spinning first 2 gears it ran 8.32 in the 1/8th. I just want to prove to them that I can build something to run with them.Most of them are running high 6s low 7s in the 1/8th.
