TYPE R swap or Turbo charge on 98 LS
i was thinkin of going ls/vtec but then if im going to spend htat much money might as well go type r swap but the idea or a turbo charge is there as well... any suggestions where i should go?

A type-r swap usually costs around 5000. For that much you could put a turbo kit and hondata on and be running much quicker than a bare bones type-r swap. Just my 2 cents.

turbo charging will cost significantly more than 5000
assuming that you will rebuild the motor (sleeves, forged pistons/rods) and do some headwork (p/p, springs/retainers), hondata, fuel (injectors/rail/pump), ignition (MSD), gauges, boost controller, clutch, suspension, quaife...
that should put you over 10,000 easy....

Hehe, the R guys love their motors dont they. I say turbo. Screw that motor, that swaps not for a heavy integra, maybe a nice light hatch--thats where I think those motors should be found.

If you could get them done for equal price i would say itr swap cuz you can always go turbo in the future. The jump from b18b to b18c5 is a big one.
