A type-r swap usually costs around 5000. For that much you could put a turbo kit and hondata on and be running much quicker than a bare bones type-r swap. Just my 2 cents.

turbo charging will cost significantly more than 5000
assuming that you will rebuild the motor (sleeves, forged pistons/rods) and do some headwork (p/p, springs/retainers), hondata, fuel (injectors/rail/pump), ignition (MSD), gauges, boost controller, clutch, suspension, quaife...

that should put you over 10,000 easy....

u dont have to do all that stuff to turbocharge though.. For the price of a turbo kit(4k) onto an LS you will eat ITR's for breakfest.. Then, u still have so much potential left to make it faster.. only things u will need other then the turbo kit is clutch, gauges, boost controller and some gaskets..

Hehe, the R guys love their motors dont they. I say turbo. Screw that motor, that swaps not for a heavy integra, maybe a nice light hatch--thats where I think those motors should be found.
Yeah, definetly turbo. You will eat most R's--unless they are turbo too!

If you could get them done for equal price i would say itr swap cuz you can always go turbo in the future. The jump from b18b to b18c5 is a big one.
