Default b16a boost question

Hello guys im from the UK and a newby to the boost scene. I currently own a 4dr b16a and have the cash to boost, but theres one question? My ride currently has 120k on the clock. Is it safe to boost? and what psi should i run at on stock internals?

with that mileage, i would sleeve the block and replace the rods and pistons, do it right the first time. if you dont have the money, keep the boost under 7psi. one of the most important things is make sure you have good tuning.

You also replaced your rear view mirror with a boost controller, I think that says enough about how you do things with cars.

What I would do is do a compression check and a leakdown test. If both come in fine you're good to go.

By 120K i'm assuming you mean 120 thousand kilometers, which works out to about 75 thousand miles, it's practically a newborn. I bolted a turbo kit onto my Integra GSR when it had 190 thousand miles on it, which is around 300 thousand kilometers. It had perfect compression, very low leakdown, and was my daily driver in stock form for a while.

How much power are you looking to make?

And your point?

It means you do a bunch of retarded *** **** to your car, and I would value your opinion on what to do to a car as much as an 8 year olds.

Nice one guys! I dont really have enough money to replace the pistons and rods at this moment in time so it looks like il just have to stick with 7psi and below, I never really planned on running anything above this anyway. Is it true that every lb of pressure = 10bhp? ps I have a respectable tuner who specializes in boosted engines. Was looking at the turbo specialties extreme kit mainly because it comes with fuel management and extra injectors, wise choice or not?

first of all, you don't even know me. second, you have no idea what you are talking about. i guess why would you want to listen to someone who has a fully built motor that makes massive power and has had it reliable with a turbo for over 4 years now? he was asking a question about motor work, not anything to do with appearance dipshit.
