B16A " boosted " .57t with Cast Nippon Pistons
Was told my motor had been bored .25 over an sleeved, pulled to replace head gasket an no aftermarket sleeves but pistons are there.
Took my head to the machine shop to be re surfaced an he also said he had a 85mm headgasket laying around that will work. I already got a 83mm oem gasket from my boy, which should i use? The 85mm gasket looks real thin between each cyl with minor over lay an the 83mm fits snug with more gasket between each cyl. An minor over lay. Which is better to use?
I am only on 7lbs btw. Sorry for the STORY, just need a answer asap so i can put my daily bak together.

none of those gaskets are gonna work. get the correct one for your bore.

I believe the stock gasket will work up to an 81.5mm bore, but don't quote me on that.

it does ive done it a bunch of times on my turbo builds. ive also used an 84mm gasket on an 84.5mm bore with a high comp b20 no issues
