What is our problem here. My buddy has a b16, tdo4, dsm injectors, afc......this only happens at night when its cooler(around 45 degrees). At about 6k rpm its starts to pop and almost sounds like its misfiring. We gave it more fuel to see if it would help and it didnt. Im not sure if we didnt give it enough of thats not the problem. It also creeps from about 8psi to 10.

 

ever think that you have a backyard setup(im not knocking it but damn). what does the car do when it is making that noise loose boost hesitate ?

 

The only time it does it is when its cold. Yea it hesistates. I know the setup sounds like crap but he runs a 13.0 at 8psi which isnt to bad.
