Default b16 turbo compression questions

i have a built b16 with forged internals. recently i rebuilt the motor with bearings, eagle rods, weisco pistons, the works. when i put the motor back together i didnt put on my turbo set up yet because i wanted to compression test it and also see what it had all motor before next weekend when i put the kit on. well with the weiscos my compression is high 10's. it is really close to 11:1. will this be ok for turbo or no? if so what would be the safe max amount of boost for my built b16 on a good tune? thanks

i'm in the same boat, i got 11.1 comp (b16b with 2 layer gasket), im going turbo so im gonna use a cometic .051 head gasked, i did the math and it should land my comp at 10.35 ish... perfect for my low boost application... 7-8 psi tuned on crome with 440cc injectors... with 11.1 comp you can do it but 7 psi max... on pump gas...

tuning is your friend in deed, the ammount of psi (boost) will be determined of how good your tuning is and EMS and FUEL system.

tuning is definitly going to be your key to getting good numbers, however you should be able to make 300+ with it

Not to mention a lot more bottem end snap with 11:1 compression ratio. Should be fun and responsive. Better hope you dont want more power though, you'll have to ditch those slugs and by some 9:5 or 9:1s.
