Hey there i had a few quick questions. I have a 94eg with a b16 turbo on it. I was boosintg 8 psi until all of a dueen it was running a little choppy and next thing i know i hit turbo and the boost gauge goes up to 15psi!! so im like wtf so i pop the hood and realize that the tube that goes from the manual boost controller to the wastegate had just disconnected or came off somwehow but i have no idea how. I guess the zip tie was too loose and couldnt hold it on good.
Well anyway, i hooked it back up and it feels like its not spooling good and that im hearing more of the motor and less of the boost/pull. what do you think happened? thanks

if the engine is stock, do a compression test. odds are #4 has melted ring lands.

if it does have melted ringlands, how much will that cost to get fixed? and what exactly is involved ? thanks for the quick reply

do a comp test. if the numbers are close together then u are ok

you will have smoke coming from the valvecover breather, more than likely if its the ringlands
