Default B16 turbo

Hi all,

I'm thinking about one day turbo'ing my b16a with a 20G DSM TD05 Turbocharger. I was wondering what would happen if I just install the turbo and don't tune my car right away. I know I need and should tune my car but I'm curious as to what happens when I don't do it and drive the car, does it default to a certain PSI? Will the ECU freak, throw CEL's and/or go into limp mode? Just curious to know if its safe to go a day or two before I get it to the tuners.

Stick a bunch more air than fuel in your engine... With no calibration (tune) to compensate for that, it won't end well...

If you need to, install your stuff, disconnect the intercooler piping so you don't charge the system, run with stock injectors to the tuner, and then swap injectors when you get there and get the thing tuned...

Or just trailer it there...

yeah, when you turbo your car, get a tune on it, if not your timing and all is going to be out of whack for that.
