Installing injectors before turbo
Who on here has installed their larger injectors, and drove around on them, before installing the rest of the turbo kit?
Im assuming that this can be done, and just use your tuning software to cut back the fuel maps, but I wanted to hear it from ppl who have actually done it before.

I did it with my first injectors (mazda RX7 460's). Like you mentioned just use yout EMS to scale the maps back and youre set.
I did it before my turbo because I had the injectors but not all the turbo stuff. I figured it was just one less thing to do when I installed the turbo.
Make sure it doesnt leak. My first install I was all happy that it ran, I went inside to brag to my wife. Came back and found a puddle of fuel on my IM cause one was leaking. lol

It would be fine as long as you scale back. My car had to be ran NA for about 3 weeks when a turbo dies on my completely and I was waiting for a new one. I had no problems keeping my larger inhjectors in there.
